We are thrilled to announce that four of our NRT students had the opportunity to present their research at the National Science Foundation (NSF) NRT Annual Meeting in Washington, D.C. It was an enriching experience, filled with insightful discussions and networking with experts across various fields.
Our team proposed posters on cutting-edge topics, including Energy-Hungry Data Centers: The Quiet Impact on Urban Energy Consumption, bridging the gap between academia and industry, and exploring the evolution of AI-related education and research. This event provided a platform to communicate with specialists in AI, data science, and ethical technology, which will undoubtedly influence our ongoing research.
A special thank you goes out to Dr. Junfeng Jiao for his unwavering support throughout this journey. We are also proud to recognize the team efforts of Max B. Rudolph, Haley Triem, and Huihai Wang, who represented us with excellence and professionalism.
The insights and connections gained during the meeting will help propel our work in ethical AI forward as we continue to explore innovative ways to address the challenges of tomorrow’s technologies.
Stay tuned for more updates from the team as we integrate these experiences into our research initiatives.
