Frank is beginning his third year as a PhD student in the Human Centered Robotics Lab under Dr. Luis Sentis. He got his B.S. in Mechanical Engineering with a minor in Engineering Design from Rice University in Houston, Texas. His current research is BumpyBot, a person-carrying robot for contact compliant navigation. His focus is on the mechanical, structural, and aesthetical design that such a robot must have to function in a human centered space.
